NFM is the industry leader
in the design and configuration of single screw
plastic systems. The HSX-I series is available
in sizes ranging from 20mm to 250mm. Models include
standard production systems, vented extrusion and
high output systems. Applications include sheet,
film, compounding, pipe, profile and recycling.
NFM also offers a range of co-extruders which
can be specified in carriage mounted, horizontal
or pillar mounted design in sizes from 20mm to
45mm.
Each system can be fitted with a wide variety
of specialty items to handle virtually any extrusion
requirement.
The HSX-I series standard features include:

Vented Extruders
NFM's vented single extruders can be supplied with
top or side venting as required. Custom engineered
components such as injection ports, melt blenders,
multiple vent stacks and lengths are available to
accommodate specialized applications. |

High Output Extruders
NFM's high output extruders feature high capacity
screw designs, grooved feed liners and higher powered
gearboxes and drives. |

Note: Extruder outputs vary
depending on material, (*HDPE, **ABS) process conditions,
head pressure, die size,
etc. Output for other materials is available and
furnished upon request. Outputs can be reasonably
predicted based on experience or lab trials at our
R&D facility. |
