High Torque: The TEM Series provides 15% higher torque-per-free-volume than competitors. The higher torque enables higher throughput rates. Higher torque also allows higher filling of the screw channels maintaining the required shear rate and the final melt
temperature.

High Screw Speed: The creation of the super high power transmission design allows higher horsepower inputs and higher screw speeds. This generates the capability to increase rates based on RPM increases alone when compared to lower speed and torque machines. By combining the higher free-volume and screw speed capabilities, we have created a system to achieve maximum possible rates without changing critical process parameters.

Compact Design: The closed-looped Barrel Cooling System is mounted on the same base as the compounding extruder, creating a compact design. The patented gearbox is more powerful and compact in its configuration creating a smaller machine footprint.

Enhanced Performance: By increasing the torque and speed, the machine efficiencies are increased, allowing more material to be processed at a higher product quality. These efficiencies also save energy by lowering specific energy (kwh/kg).
